Exports of Rough Diamonds: The Diamond Act, 56 of 1986, as amended requires the licence holder to place rough diamonds for 4 working days at the Diamond Exchange and Export Centre before export approval can be granted. This requirement remains applicable to all rough diamond exports during this period.
